Developed by Zombie Studios and published by Perfect World, Blacklight Retribution is an free to play upcoming MMOFPS sequel to Blacklight: Tango Down, which primarily targets at casual gamers while taking on free-to-play business mode exclusively on PC.
Scheduled for the closed beta this fall, Blacklight Retribution will allow players to grab beta keys and get premium contents before the release. And then, players can take a first look at the fast-paced shooting game.
Powered by Unreal 3 Engine and DirectX 11, Blacklight Retribution has the same sci-fi background set in the futuristic universe as its predecessor with stunning maps and locations. Players can customize their armors and weapons by choosing a variety of amazing gear which will influence the abilities for the avatar, including types, styles and even colors.
Although there isn’t much information about the business model, the premium items that play an important role in the free-to-play MMOs can be expected in the phase of closed beta testing. Kill or be killed, players can join in the beta to enjoy the thrilling shooter now.
