Firefall is a team-based shooting game developed by Red 5, a part of whose members are from WOW and Tribes development teams. This game is set in the destroyed earth planet 2000 years later from today, a really nasty and tough environment where all landforms are distorted by high temperature, and alien creatures called Melding and a bloodthirsty race newly born on the earth called “The Chosen” both endanger the humankind.
The game allows hundreds of players in different clothing (battleframes) to skillfully blend MMO strategies, abilities and shooting elements to generate a more interesting, more opened, and cleverer fighting experience. One gamer can play multiple roles by having various battleframes, whose unique functions and moving manners can be strengthened. Bags on the battleframes can supply energy named Crystite and install special skills like blastwave and high jump. Basic physics effect, sound effects, musical experience and views are all improved amazingly in this game.

1.Firefall’s beta launch timeline
Red 5 just gave us a quick update on Firefall’s timeline to clear up any confusion regarding the beta and launch. Most of this is existing knowledge, but they want to ensure their press are on the same page. Launch: Red 5 considers Firefall a “service” and therefore believes that it does not fit into the traditional game launch template. As a result, Firefall’s invite-only beta will continue well into 2012.
