Ghost Recon Online is a free-to-play, downloadable hardcore shooting game in the third person view. Based on Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise, the online version is developed by Ubisoft Singapore studio, offering a variety of features, such as customization, online matches and lobby platform.
In the beginning, players can choose from three classes: assault soldiers, snipers, or specialists, each of them having specific skills and gameplay experience. It is said that Ubisoft will add more classes in the future. In order to enhance the power, players can select free gear as well as pay for in-game premium items, presenting the ultimate ghost in the multiplayer world.
Ghost Recon Online focuses on the team battles, for example, the 4v4 match in the alpha testing with the aim to control the map between two teams. In the battle, players can customize their outfits, deploy the military technology, use different strategies, and final defeat the rivals to win the victory. Therefore, the victory in the game relies on weaponry, intelligence and tactics.
In addtion, Ghost Recon Online is rich with the features of chatting, leaderboards, achievements, update contents and upcoming game events in its game lobby, described as “the most social, connected and customisable Ghost Recon experience yet” by Ubisoft’s Chris Early.
