Recap of the current happenings for MMOs During January 16 – January 21

Below is a recap of the current happenings for MMOs over the last week or so. It has been quiet since the New Year so this our first meaty update of 2012!

RIOTZONE(Browser game, Strategy MMO, Cartoon)

MailRU announced a brand new strategy game for browsers with a fun cartoon style. Launching this quarter, RiotZone is set to take players through a tropical setting in a war torn country where they ferociously engage in tactical combat. With its short game sessions and comic styling, RiotZone is sure to appeal to casual gamers!

FARM KINGDOM (browser, farm, simulation)

The sweet Farm simulator is in beta right now and is launching more and more content every day including some fun new mini games including the Fishing mini-game we announced just this morning. SILKROAD-R (MMORPG)

Silkroad-R officially launches with Silkroad-R Return of the King. This blockbuster title from Joymax, part of the Silkroad family, is its very own game with unique accounts and servers. This new gaming experience is the cleanest yet, with class and skill rebalancing, improved drop rates, increased anti-botting measures and so much more. To kick off the launch, Joymax is featuring numerous events and promotions until February 7th!

DIGIMON MASTERS (MMORPG)

Announces The Arrival of Keenan And Falcomon Joymax announced the anticipated addition of two new Mercenary Digimon for their online massive multiplayer title, Digimon Masters. Digimon Masters continues the story and heightened sense of urgency found in the Digimon anime. Now joining the cast of available Trainers is the hotly anticipated duo of Keenan and Falcomon!

CARTE (Online TCG)

GamesCampus announced it is bringing the first global online trading card game, Carte, to North America in early 2012. A new teaser site and first gameplay trailer are available to give everyone a sneak peek at this game-changing online TCG.
