Independently developed and published by Mechanist Games based in Xiamen China, City of Steam is a 3D browser-based MMORPG that brings the industrial age to life through its wonderful design of landscape.
Mechanist Games claims to set higher standard of graphics for the rest of browser-based games. And a player stepping into the world of City of Steam for the first time will definitely marvel at the visual shock from the high-resolution graphics.

City of Steam provides four job classes and nine races for players to create a character. The job classes are Arcanist, Gunner, Warder, Channeler. The races are Heartlanders, Avens, Ostenians, Stoigmari, Draug, Riven, Goblins, Hobbes, Orcs. The level of a character is evaluated by such stat points as physical points, mental points and luck. Besides, each class and race has its own stat bonuses for one to choose according to his preference.
