Travian Games, a Munich-based developer of browser games, has spent more than a year on this latest project before it launched the Open Beta of Remanum. Starting from now, interested players can register for the beta, do all kinds of businesses and explore up to 20 cities around the Mediterranean.
As a citizen of an ancient town, you aim to build the city into a flourishing metropolis with or against up to 500 real players. During the course, you have to fill your wallet with hard cash through a variety of dealings. Remanum also requires you to master the intrigues of politics by instinct, to establish a sophisticated production chain, to promote your own city through different measures, and to focus on the further development of the country.
The selling point of Remanum consists in a dynamic inventory control system, which will help you to achieve a balance between supply and demand in the game world. Of course, it may also result in plenty of complex trading options for each player. This is in contrast to many other trading simulations, since Remanum will not generate predictable routes, but it will constantly react to the situation in the markets just like in real life.
