The Lords in Romadoria must obey the law of the jungle: surviving otherwise abandoned. When the shadow of failure walks behind with each step you take, you have to foist the brilliant idea upon yourself.

Romadoria is a 2D, free-to-play, browser-based MMORTS set in the ancient Rome, where you can expand the colony, plunder enemy cities and fight for supremacy. The game hopes to take the browser strategy game with easy ticks by mouse, designed for both hardcore and casual gamers.

Taking the role of a leader in a small village, you are taught how to control Romadoria in a text-based tutorial. You should first build the central government called Roman Forum and citizen accommodations called Insulas, Atriums and Villas. In this case, you are able to give instructions for legions in Roman Forum, the heart of the village, and levy taxes to increase Denarius, the in-game currency, from Insulas, Atriums and Villas. In order to support the village, you should also build resource fields, raise troops, and do researches. In fact, the part of city building is similar to other strategy games.

It is not easy to conquest your rivals in the virtual Roman world, especially the Mediterranean Sea, the high-ranking area. You must form a clan to enlist massive players to join in the warfare. With the help of clan members, you can defeat the opponents and conquer others’ territories easier. Displayed in animated graphics, the combat requires positioning the units and organizing the strategies. Hence, you can command the army to defend against others in an effective way.

With low graphics, Romadoria plays quite well on the low-spec computer, but the interface in the game is not very simple and clear for it doesn’t show the types of units in the battles. If you want to kill your time, you can choose Romadoria to have a try.
