Shadow Era is an online free-to-play collectible card game that supports cross-platform multi-player battles. It is developed by Wulven Game Studios in 2011.
Shadow Era focuses on card strategy and puts a player’s command of more than 100 trading cards to test. With more than 100 trading cards and new ones being added, it is definitely a challenge for anyone who begins to learn rules and contents of the cards.
Turn phases can mainly be divided into five: Draw, Sacrifice, Action, Target and Finish. In the Draw phase, one will read all exhausted cards and try to trigger “each turn” effect. In the Sacrifice phase, one might convert a card at hand into a resource or just choose to skip the turn. In the Action phase, one puts various unique abilities owned by heroes in the cards into effect. In the Target phase, one should attack a given target by the card a player chooses. The Finish phase is when one has ended one’s turn and should wait for the opponent’s action.
And good news for iPhone users is that the cross platform of the game also makes it possible for to join the card battle anytime and anywhere.
